A. Objectives
Children will be able to do following
- Identify words in English which related to recreational object
- Pronounce words in English correctly
- To accustom to listening and speaking
- Able to respond what teacher wants
- Able to respond command with part of their body
- Able to master vocabulary
B. Material
- Imitation bus (bus fantasy)
- Pictures of recreational objects
- Tools which related with the traveling bus
C. Activities
Before, the teaching begin, the teacher has to prepare materials:
- The bus fantasy, if it is possible, but if it is not possible, the teacher can create the class like in the bus.
- The teacher puts pictures of recreational object in the wall, as if it is the road which will the bus cross.
- The teacher ask for one of children to drive the bus (driver).
The teacher controls children to enter the bus (use of gesture, exp.: to say “come on”, we can use our hand to give command to children to enter the bus).
The teacher goes around in the bus or class to make dialogue with children.
For example:
The teacher : Now, we are the bus, are you happy?
Yes or No (use of gesture to talk Y/N “head or sheke your head”)
Children : Yes ………………
No ………………
Teacher : Honey, I have known your feeling
Now, look at out side on the bus, in there are some recreational/tourism objects (point pictures of tourism object with your finger)
That is temple. What is it, honey?
Children : Temple ………………..
Teacher : One again, what is it, honey?
Children : Temple
Teacher : Good (respond with gesture)
…………………………… and further ……………………………………….
As if we have arrived in our destination, the teacher ask to driver to stop the bus (use of gesture)The teacher say “thank you” to driver (with shake hand). Than teacher ask to his children to follow (“thank you” with shake hand).
